Popular American singer Enisa has re-followed Nigerian musician Davido on X (formerly Twitter) after experiencing a sharp decline in her followers.
The singer, who initially gained popularity in Nigeria through her collaboration with Davido, saw her follower count drop by over 25,000 after she unfollowed him and several Nigerian influencers on the platform.
Enisa’s decision to unfollow Davido surprised many, as the Nigerian star had played a significant role in her rise to fame in Nigeria.

In 2021, Davido featured on the remix of her song “Love Cycle,” which helped her connect with a broader Nigerian audience and gain substantial popularity.
The backlash from her unfollowing was swift and significant. Many Nigerian fans, feeling a sense of loyalty to Davido, began to unfollow Enisa in retaliation.
Reports suggest that her follower count dropped from around 830,000 to just over 797,000 in a matter of days due to this move.
Reacting to the backlash and the loss of followers, Enisa made a U-turn and re-followed Davido on X.
She is now following seven accounts, including Davido, whereas earlier, she was following only three people.
