He further emphasized Kano’s historic association with progressive politics, assuring that the APC’s political machinery was well-prepared to secure victory in the Kano Local Government elections. The chairman also called on the state’s independent electoral commission to ensure a fair and transparent election process.
“We are committed to adhering to all electoral laws to guarantee a peaceful election,” Abbas said, reiterating the party’s dedication to free and fair elections. He urged the commission to provide a level playing field for all candidates in the Kano Local Government elections.
As the APC gears up for a competitive race, it faces opposition from other political parties, including the ruling New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
