Stakeholders and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Umme electoral ward, Nasarawa State, have urged its members and others Nigerians to show love and tolerate one another for the progress of the party and for the overall development of the country.

Mr Suleiman Tafida, Deputy Speaker, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Legislative Council and Councilor representing Umme Ward, made the call on Thursday in Umme during a joint APC stakeholders and executive meeting of the ward.

Tafida said if members tolerate one another and remained united, it would not only promote peace but it would lead to victory for the party in 2023 and beyond.

The stakeholders endorsed Gov. Abdullahi Sule, Sen. Godiya Akwashiki (APC-Nasarawa North) and Alhaji Muluku Agah, the most ranking lawmaker and member representing Nasarawa Eggon East constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for another term in office from 2023.

The stakeholders said the endorsements followed the developmental strides of the governor, senator and member in their respective offices.

He said that both Sule, Akwashiki and Muluku have performed well, hence the need for the people to support them to continue beyond 2023. This will enable them consolidate on their achievements and we will enjoy more dividends of democracy.

“His Excellency, Gov. Sule, Sen. Akwashiki and our own Hon. Muluku have done well and are still doing well towards impacting positively on the lives of the people,” he said.

He also passed a vote of confidence on the trio over their leadership styles, assuring of the readiness of party members to mobilise support for them beyond 2023.

Also speaking, Mr Salisu Wazobia, APC Chairman of Umme Ward and Mr Ahmed Chidawa, former Chairman, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area, also drummed support for the trio to succeed beyond 2023.

They said that the trio performed well beyond expectations while calling on all and sundry to support them at all times. (NAN)
