Kano State Football Association has suspended all football activities in the state for three days to mourn the death of mother of the Emirs of Kano and Bichi Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero (Mai Babban Daki) who died Saturday.

According to the statement signed by the secretary of the association, Shehu Buhari the mourning period started from today Sunday 25/4/2021 to Wednesday 28/4/2021.

The statement enjoined all football family in the state to abide by this directive.

The Association then on behalf of the Chairman Alhaji Sharif Rabi’u Inuwa Ahlan, Board Members, 44 local government football councils, clubs chairmen and all football families in the state condole the Emirs of Kano and Bichi and prayed to Almighty to forgive late Mai Babban Daki all her shortcomings and put her Jannatil Firdausi.
