Chief Press Secretary to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Abba Anwar has raised alarm over alleged plans by some hackers to gain access to his official Facebook page.

Abba Anwar in a statement made available to Daily News 24 said the act was swiftly detected and fixed.

He said: “An attempt by unidentified unscrupulous elements to gain unauthorized access (hack) to my official Facebook Page was detected and fixed.

“I believe that the attempt was done to get unauthorized access (hack) in order to own an easy platform for spreading fake un”official” information about the Kano state government.

“All Praises be to the Almighty Allah for the ability given, to foil the undesirable attempt. For clarity purposes, my Page still remains “Abba Anwar Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor.”
