After a careful scrutiny of his background and experience as a former House Majority Leader in Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Baffa Babba Danagundi, Managing Director, Kano Road Traffic Management Agency (KAROTA), has been appointed as North-West Director, Tinubu Support Group (TSG).
His appointment came on the heels of the Presidential Campaign, which is set to begin on September 28th, as stipulated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), with Danagundi’s political experience and clout taken into account.
Speaking to reporters in his office over the weekend, the firebrand politician described his new role as a formidable challenge that he is ready to face with commitment, vigour, and absolute dedication, adding that as someone who has proven his mettle and industriousness on the House floor as majority leader, he would leave no stone unturned in doing what is best.
According to him, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has the necessary potentials to win the upcoming Presidential election with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the helm, expressing hope that the country will see a new dawn in its democratic journey after the 2023 elections.
He stated “I am not surprised by my appointment as North-West Director of Tinubu Support Group, knowing that such an appointment is based on merit and after a thorough examination of my political track record. We are going to show the doubters that we have the ability to lead the struggle.”
