Association of Mobile Money of Nigeria (AMMON) has said that technical errors and other uncertainties between mobile money operators (POS) and customers happens as a result of technical problem from various banks operating in this country.

Chairman Association of Mobile Money of Nigeria Kano State Chapter, Alhaji Salihu Ali Umar stated this in a Press Release issued to Daily News 24.

Alhaji Salihu Ali Umar said the association is taking drastic measures to reduce the problem of failed transaction from the banks.

The State Chairman noted that POS Operators registered with AMMON are trained agents that will continue to serve the general public with needed services.

“It’s very common as we received various complaint from our customers, as banks made it so difficult for not resolving issues related to transactions.

“We are appealing to the banks to give priority to POS Operators as a major means that is trending now.

“We agree of the growing concern regarding this technical issues, that majorly occur in the cause of transactions, that is to say customers money during this type of problem is safe as its with their various banks”, Salihu Umar said.

Chairman AMMON Kano Chapter said the Association has taken the matter into cognizance, and will ensure it addresses the problem after meeting their principals.

He added that they will continue to enlighten and train their members on the new trend that will ease their business with their customers during any transactions.
