Bayero University, Kano, has recognized the support and cooperation of its community in maintaining a peaceful campus environment.
In response to the ongoing National Protest and after evaluating the situation in Kano State, the university management has decided to suspend all scheduled lectures immediately.
Lamara Garba, Deputy Registrar of Public Affairs, mentioned that once normalcy is restored, “all academic and administrative activities will resume fully.” He urged students residing on campus to remain calm and law-abiding, assuring them that adequate arrangements have been made for their safety.

Garba further stated, “The Management in particular, is concerned with the safety of lives and property and, therefore, enjoins the members of the University community to continue to be cautious about their movements outside the campuses in order to avoid exposure to any possible danger.”
