Victoria Adeyele, commonly known as Vee, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has revealed an unpleasant encounter she had with her plumber.
According to the reality TV actress, she intends to put her plumber in jail for stealing N150,000 from her.
Vee explained that her plumber defrauded her and took N150,000 for a N20,000 job.
She went on to explain that when she found out about the incident and protested about it, someone supported the plumber’s actions, claiming it was due to the country’s dire economic circumstances.
Venting over the incident via her Twitter handle on Wednesday, Vee said, “My plumber scammed me and collected 150k for a 20k job and one idiot is telling me it’s because ‘everyone is hungry.’
“He will eat in jail.”
The reality star said the plumber has been exploiting her because she “grew up in a completely different environment, so I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. So I never suspected anything.”
She berated Nigerians who normalized scams.
