The Imo State Police Command has confirmed an attack on Okigwe South Area Command Headquarters in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area by gunmen.
The Command’s Spokesman, Orlando Ikeokwu who confirmed the attack said five Police Officers have been killed and one other is ‘yet to be acounted for.’
According to him, the building of the police Station was not razed by the rampaging gunmen.
This latest attack is coming two days after the house of Governor Hope Uzodinma in his country home at Omuma community was attacked by hoodlums.
