President Muhammadu Buhari has joined Government and people of Kogi in rejoicing with the Ata Igala, Matthew Akpa, on his investiture as Ata Igala, bringing a wealth of experience to the throne of his fathers.
In a statement by his spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, on Thursday in Abuja, the president felicitated the Kogi State Traditional Council, kingmakers, sons and daughters of Igala nation on the historic event.

According to the president, this has further highlighted the rich culture and tradition of the people.
The president urged the traditional ruler to dedicate himself to the growth and well being of his people, and support the government in promoting peace, unity and progress, especially in civic responsibilities.
Buhari prayed that almighty God would guide the royal father in the discharge of his duties, particularly in encouraging strong moral values and respect among the youth.(NAN)
