The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the 2024 CAF Awards will be held in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 16, 2024.

This will be the third consecutive year that Morocco hosts the prestigious event, following the success of last yearโs ceremony. The vibrant city of Marrakech, known for its rich culture and thriving tourism, will once again be the center of African footballโs grand celebration.
The awards will spotlight outstanding performances in club and national football, with the highly anticipated titles of African Player of the Year in both the menโs and womenโs categories set to headline the event.
Although the final list of nominees is yet to be announced, football stars such as Nigeriaโs Ademola Lookman, Guineaโs Serhou Guirassy, and Moroccoโs Brahim Dรญaz are expected to be strong contenders. Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala, the reigning titleholders in the menโs and womenโs categories, will also look to defend their crowns.
