Rev. Fr Gabriel Dung,  Assistant Parish Priest of St Finberrs’ Catholic Church, Rayfield,  Jos  has advised Christians and indeed Nigerians to desist from Idleness and live a  more engaging life.

Dung gave the advice in his sermon on Sunday in Jos, Plateau, adding that God hates laziness.

The priest,  who reminded Christians that ‘an idle mind is the devil’s workshop’, encouraged Nigerians to indulge in things that would please God and humanity.

”Today, St Paul has reminded us that there’s dignity in labour and so we are to use our time and everything in us for  meaningful things.

”We must shun Idleness and go about doing things that will please God and be of benefit to humanity.

”We should be productive with our time rather than use it to gossip and plan evil against our fellow human beings,” Dung advised.

The cleric also urged Christians to indulge in things that would earn God’s abundant blessings on earth and a ticket to heaven, adding that the world remained  a passing road.
