Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman has said that his side fell 4-1 to PSG in the Champions League round of 16 first leg in Camp Nou because Mauricio Pochettino’s men were better.
The former Everton manager also singled out PSG’s Kylian Mbappé for praise after the Frenchman netted a hattrick.
Koeman further admitted that it would be difficult for his side to upturn the result when they travel to Paris for the second leg on March 10.
“In the 2nd half they were better than us and were very efficient, especially Mbappé. Physically they were superior…,” he told a post match press conference.
“We have to accept they were better, they showed they’re a more complete team than us… Losing 4-1 at home there aren’t many chances [to turn it around].
“We are on the path to changing things, and today’s game showed we still need to change a lot more, to compete in the Champions League.”
