Chima Udoye has been crowned the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 9, emerging victorious in the popular reality TV singing competition after months of intense performances and fierce competition.
The grand finale, held on Sunday, was a thrilling conclusion to months of intense competition.
The show opened with a powerful rendition of John Legend’s “Glory” performed by all 10 contestants, setting the tone for an unforgettable night. Past winners Progress and Victory Gbakara made special appearances, while Simi and Chike delivered electrifying guest performances.

The top 3 contestants, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima, took the stage for their final performances, leaving the audience in awe. In the end, Chima’s exceptional talent and dedication earned him the top spot.

As the winner of Nigerian Idol season 9, Chima walks away with a lucrative prize package, including N30 million cash, a music deal with a music video, a DSTV Explora with a 1-year premium subscription, and a brand new SUV.
