Sancare Biomedical Ltd, a Chinese Medical and Laboratory Equipment manufacturer, has berthed in Yenagoa in response to the Bayelsa government’s investment drive.
The Manager of the company Mr Elijah Ehika, who spoke to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday, on the side lines of the just concluded scientific conference of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria in Yenagoa, said the firm had concluded plans to open a branch in Bayelsa.
He said that their company was also willing and ready to partner with the Bayelsa government in the area of training and capacity building of Medical Laboratory Technologists working for the state.

Ehika pointed at the investment drive of the present administration as attractive, saying that the company’s investment in Bayelsa would create jobs for the people, as the state would serve as its operational hub for the South-South region.
He said that given the conducive investment climate provided by the government, the collaboration would also bring about an upgrade to scientific laboratory equipment across the state.
Ehika explained that Sancare Biomedical was a leading international manufacturer of scientific laboratory and other equipment, in addition to being a technical service provider of top quality medical equipment to distributors across Africa’s health care industry.
According to him, the products of the company had been tested and certified by different medical regulatory bodies.
Ehika also said that the equipment manufactured by the firm had been endorsed by the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria and hence the approval to exhibit their products at the scientific conference, as well as share their wealth of experience.
He added that the company participated in the conference to also prefer solutions to challenges faced by laboratory scientists in improving their knowledge and exhibit new products that could be deployed to render the right services in Bayelsa’s health sector. (NAN)
