Simon and Nikie were being prosecuted by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on a two-count charge of conspiracy and theft.

The Prosecutor, Marcus Audu, told the court that the complainant, Tanko Umaru, reported the matter at the corps’ office in Kafanchan on April 13.

Audu said the defendants went into the complainant’s house at Bakin Kogi and stole his Bajaj motorcycle.

He said that the defendants were arrested during investigation, and the  motorcycle found in their possession.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 58 and 270 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.
