Popular Kayan Mata seller, Jaruma will have to spend more time in a correctional facility in Abuja for some days, as a court has revoked her bail and ordered her rearrest till march.

She was released on bail last month after she spent about 4 days in prison for several allegations, one of which is defamation levelled against her by actress Regina Daniels husband, Ned Nwoko.

The rearrest stemmed from the fact that a high court in Abuja has reportedly ordered that Jaruma be rearrested and remanded till March 17, which is the new adjournment date for the next sitting by the court on the case.

Reports have it that neither she nor her lawyer showed up in court when they were expected, and there was no representation to stand in for either of them.

According to Instablog 9ja, an Abuja High Court in Zuba, Abuja, revoked the bail granted to the businesswoman Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, better known as Jaruma.

The Presiding Judge, Barrister Ismail Abdullahi Jibrin, also ordered that she should be rearrested and remanded at the Suleja Correctional Centre, until March 17, 2022, the new adjournment date for the next sitting by the court on the case. (legit)
