Residents of Dambatta town in Dambatta Local Government Area of Kano State erupted in celebration following the completion of the tarred road network from Barde Primary School to Kofar Kudu Junction in Dambatta East Ward.
The project, inaugurated by Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin, has transformed a previously dilapidated and difficult-to-access road into a smooth and aesthetically pleasing route.

Expressing their gratitude, local residents praised the Senator for his commitment to improving their lives. “The road network has brought life to the people and road users in the area,” they said. “We are grateful to Allah for having Senator Barau Jibrin as our representative at the Senate, considering his unwavering efforts to bring succor to his constituents.”
The community also acknowledged the ongoing contributions of Dan Bayero, Senator Barau’s representative, for his steadfastness throughout the road rehabilitation project. They affirmed their support for the Senator, promising their votes and continued backing.
Senator Barau Jibrin’s numerous interventions across Kano North, including the distribution of vehicles to boost commercial transport, the establishment of Open University campuses, and the creation of a campus at Federal University Dutsin-Ma in Dambatta, have earned him widespread respect. His efforts in education and healthcare, such as the proposed Federal Medical Center in Gwarzo, further underscore his dedication to constituency development.
