The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command ,has deployed no fewer than 3,005 personnel to ensure peaceful Sallah celebration in the state.
The NSCDC State Commandant, Mr Idris Adamu-Zakari, made the disclosure in a statement issued in Kano on Friday.
“The personnel were deployed to ensure safety of lives and property as well as protection of critical national assets and infrastructure,””he said.

According to him, NSCDC will collaborate with all sister security agencies and critical stakeholders for maximum security during and after Eid-el Kabir festivities in the state.
“Operatives of the corps will be stationed in various prayer grounds, emirs’ palaces, recreational centres and public places across the state to ensure hitch free Sallah celebrations”, he added.
He enjoined the general public to share useful security information to law enforcement agencies to collectively check those who might want to cause trouble during and after the festive period.
“Security is a collective responsibility of all good citizens.
“Wishing everyone Happy Eid-el-Kabir”, he said.
