The Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero has left Nigeria for Morocco to attend the 13th Edition of the International Festival of Horses in the coastal city of El-Jadida holding between 18th October, 2022 to 22 October.
The Emir has been invited by the organisers of the festival as a Special Guest of Honour during the occasion.
This was contained in a statement issued by Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, Chief Press Secretary of the Kano Emirate Council.
The Horse festival harnesses the numerous multi-dimensional benefits of the horse in Agriculture, promotion and the preservation of cultural heritage, environment, sports and as a source of entertainment which creates powerful social links.
This year’s edition will include several novelties with fun, cultural, artistic, sporting and equestrian competitions with the active participation of many African countries.
A contigent from Kano has already travelled to the Kingdom to participate in the events and competitions during the Festival.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero CFR is accompanied by Alh. Ahmad Ado Bayero, Sarkin Dawakin Tsakar Gida, Amb. Ahmed Umar, OON, Dan Malikin Kano, Mal. Isa Bayero, and some other staff.
The Emir is expected back in Nigeria on 23rd October, 2022.
