Brentford boss, Thomas Frank, has criticized Chelsea over their latest signing, Mykhailo Mudryk.
Frank believes Chelsea has paid an ‘insane’ amount of money to bring Mudryk to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea beat Arsenal to sign the Ukrainian last weekend for £88 million.
Speaking ahead of Brentford’s trip to Leeds on Sunday, Frank said at his pre-match press conference that it is hard to comprehend how expensive players are becoming these days.
“I think there is a lot of money around in the football world and especially in the Premier League,” Frank said.
“Looking from the outside, I think [Mykhailo] Mudryk is a really good player. I think €100m, that is a lot for a player that’s showing great, great signs of potential to do more, but maybe that is just the price-tag these days, which is insane.”
