Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has branded the club’s midfielder, Thiago Alcantara, as a ‘liability’ defensively following their 3-1 defeat against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

Goals from James Maddison, Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes gave Leicester all three points against Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Mohamed Salah did score a goal for Liverpool at the King Power Stadium.
Reacting, Carragher, in a tweet after the game, said: “Liverpool outstanding up until 1-1. Thiago a liability defensively! The Keeper’s decision making gone awol last 2 games!! #LEILIV.”
The defeat against Leicester means Liverpool in the fourth position on the Premier League table with 40 points from 24 matches.
Klopp’s men will now face RB Leipzig in the Champions League last-16 on Tuesday.
