Heavy rocket explosion has rocked 1000 Housing Estate in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.
Residents woke up to the explosion on Saturday morning, Daily Trust reports.
The explosion believed to have been triggered by Boko Haram fighters sparked tension in the vicinity.

In a video, residents of the estate were seen discussing the incidents in groups.
A large crowd was also seen in one of the houses affected by the explosion.
A resident said no life was lost in the incident but it could not be independently verified at the time of this report.
A military source said that troops of 33 artillery, Njimtelo, opened fire when they sighted insurgents on the outskirts of Maiduguri.
The insurgents were said to have also engaged troops in a gun battle.
The military has cordoned off the estate.
Bombings in Maiduguri is not a novelty and is usually launchd by Boko Haram/ISWAP terorrists.
In February, at least 10 persons died and about 60 were injured after Boko Haram insurgents fired rocket bombs into the town.
Borno state has continued to witness insurgents attacks especially from Boko Haram and ISWAP for more than a decade leading to loss of lives and property worth millions.
