Jide Fatokun has confirmed his exit from Kwara United after four years with the club.

Fatokun penned a two-year contract with Remo Stars ahead of the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier League season.

He expressed gratitude to everyone identified with Kwara United in a farewell message.

“It’s really hard and painful to put this together, but it’s important and needful. I wish to express my deepest appreciation to the entire Kwarans and everyone identified with Kwara United Football Club for the immense love I’ve got in the last couple of years.

“I cherish all the love and kindness I have shared with great Kwara people and supporters. Significantly, we have achieved a lot since wearing the coveted Kwara United jersey, boosted with motivation, inspiration, and unending sacrifices from you all,” he stated in a farewell letter to the club.
