A football star in Oman, Mukhaled Al-Raqadi has died after a heart attack he suffered while warming up ahead of a match.
The death of the Muscat FC star has since thrown the sporting community in Oman into mourning.
He passed away on December 23 after reportedly suffering a heart attack during a warm-up as his club were getting ready for the League clash against Suwaiq.

The player was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he passed away shortly after arriving for treatment.
“With hearts full of faith and accepting God’s decisions, Muscat Sports Club and all related to it extend their sincerest condolences to the Al-Raqadi family,” a club statement said.
A Croatian player, Mario Cacic had also died after a heart issue during training on December 21.
Argentina legend, Sergio Aguero and Piotr Zielinski are the most recent players who survived heart issues with the former retiring from football.
