Former Wikki Tourist Head coach Usman Abdallah has left Nigeria to embark on a refresher course in Europe.

Abdallah, who holds Uefa A and Uefa Pro license, recently resigned as the Bauchi-based NPFL side Wikki Tourist confirmed he’s left Nigeria to Europe but will soon return to his country.

According to the former Enyimba coach, ” I’m currently back to Europe, to be precise, I’m in France at the moment where I based with my family, and in the next few days, I will be heading to Holland to embark on a refresher course which will last for at least six weeks.”

“In a coaching job, one has to keep updated with modern style and techniques of the business because if you stick to what you already know and obtain a certificate for, your tactics and approach will definitely become obsolete. ”

“The idea is for me to be abreast with the latest style of approaching the game under international standard, and after that, I shall return home to Nigeria.”

During his brief stint with Enyimba, Usman Abdallah led the Aba based side to a spot in the Caf Confederations Cup in 2018 and the NPFL league title in 2019.
