Gareth Southgate, the England manager, praised the performance of Ezri Konsa, highlighting his excellence. He also commended Anthony Gordon and Ollie Watkins for their solid contributions in the match against Brazil.

Brazil secured a win against the Three Lions at Wembley thanks to a goal from Endrick in the second half.

“I thought Anthony was excellent.” His performance showcased a high level of skill in both aspects.

Ezri’s timing was impeccable, stepping in just when needed to handle a player of Vinicius’ calibre. His performance was truly impressive, displaying remarkable composure. He should be extremely proud of his debut. We were extremely satisfied with him.

He commented, “I believe Ollie performed well, although he didn’t have a clear opportunity to score as a forward. Nonetheless, his overall performance was commendable.”
