The Sarkin Fulani of Lagos and Chairman Council of Fulani Chiefs Southwest His Highness Alhaji Dr Muhammed Abubakar Bambado II has in a letter written and signed my the monarch congratulated Mr Sani Maikatanga a Kano based photojournalist on his recent victory as the overall winner of the Global Landscape Forum Africa photo competition 2022.

In the letter, the monarch stated that Maikatanga’s victory is a confirmation of his sterling qualities as a professional photographer who has over the years left no stone unturned in the pursuit of excellence in photography.

“Your diligence on duty as well as your indisputable excellent contribution to the world of photography is indeed exemplary in the industry in Nigeria. Beyond given honour to whom it is due, the award also comes handy as an incentive to propel you to contribute much more as you deepen professional photography in the country,” the letter reads.

His Highness the Sarkin Fulani of Lagos also urge the winner Sani Maikatanga to continue with the good work once gain as his victory marks another landmark of recognition by others in the world of photography.

“Once again congratulations as we rejoice with you on the award which clearly marks yet landmark recognition of your talent and untiring drive to improve,” said the letter.
