Gov. Muhammadu Yahaya has approved the appointment of Aminu Yuguda as the substantive Accountant-General of Gombe State.

A statement by Ismaila Misilli, spokesperson to the governor, said that Yuguda would resume office on Monday, March 21.

It said that Yuguda had performed creditably when he acted in the capacity for six months, which earned him a confirmation.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Yuguda was appointed Acting Accountant-General on 22 September, 2021 following the retirement of his predecessor.

Yuguda, 47, holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in Accounting from the University of Maiduguri and a PhD from the University of Jos. (NAN)
