“Without the physical plan, the economy will not work the way it should be, you will have a lot of chaos.
“Physical planning is very essential, we urge on all of us to look at it as very important for us to focus on physical development and planning, that is the way to go.
“Other countries that are really advancing economically have answered this basic question.
“They have ensured that they have a physical development plan for their areas which will invariablly deliver on different other social economic objectives and goals of the city” he said.
Yilrwang advised the public to seek guidance from relevant authorities when acquiring lands to avoid environmental hazards even though the masterplan had yet to be executed.
“Everything we do is on land, and once it is not properly ordered, you will discover that there will be so many different kinds of chaotic things going on.
“Such that it can make the whole physical environment of that place unpleasant, and once it is unpleasant, it make the public to agonise.
“And when people agonise, they will not understand that it’s because the physical environment of that area has been jeopardised.
“That is why we have so many different types of problems, with drainage and flooding, among others,” he observed.(NAN)
