Umar Bush, a Hausa skitmaker renowned for his humorous and often controversial content, has been appointed as the Special Assistant on Entertainment to Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, the Senior Special Assistant to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities.

The announcement was made public on Umar Bush’s Facebook account. The official appointment was confirmed in a letter with reference number SSAP/SNEO/24/VOL.1/464, addressed to Umar Dan Kawu, also known as Umar Mariri Tsamiya, in Kano State.
The appointment letter, titled “Appointment as Special Assistant on Entertainment,” conveyed the approval of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities. The letter outlined Umar Bush’s new responsibilities, which include managing media promotion, ensuring good public relations, and facilitating entertainment initiatives for the office.
Umar Bush’s appointment is set for a two-year term, effective July 10, 2024, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
Rahama Sadau appointed into FG committee
Earlier, Nollywood actress, Rahama Sadau was appointed to an investment committee by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Daily News 24 reported that Ms. Sadau will serve on the Technical Committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise programme (iDICE).
The actress was appointed to the committee along with other Nigerians.
The Technical Committee on the iDICE programme is chaired by the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters (Office of The Vice President) Tope Kolade Fasua.
In a post on her X account, Ms. Sadau expressed her gratitude for the appointment.
