Chairman of Sufaye Enterprises, Alh. Ahmad Said Sufi have lamented on the current situation of Nigerian economy which has affected businesses in the country.

In an exclusive interview with DailyNews24, Alhaji Sufi relates the condition to hike in crude oil price, which inflated the cost of products and services.

Sufi disclosed that the price change in product are from the producers not distributors, “the price of products are inflating, whenever we inquire, the producers complained of inflation of fuel, diesel and sugar.”

“The price hike in commodities has generated low patronage to the business, while income has not increased.”

He urged the government to intervene on the current economic crisis, in order to soften and reduce prices of commodities that will favour the consumers.

The chairman called on youths to understand the current economic hardship and engage themselves in building their career said that “Government can not offer opportunities to everyone, advises youths to acquire knowledge for self-reliance not for white-collar jobs.”
