The vandals specifically targeted the Kano Information and Communication Technology Centre, just days before its official launch. They absconded with valuable equipment, including computers, furniture, and electronics, causing extensive damage to the facility.

Photos circulating on social media depict youths leaving the site with the stolen items, highlighting the chaos and lawlessness that marred the protests in some areas. The looting of the industrial park adds to the growing concerns over the security and stability of newly developed infrastructure in the region.

The #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests have sparked nationwide demonstrations, with citizens expressing their frustration over the country’s severe economic hardships. Despite the predominantly peaceful nature of many protests, there have been reports of violence and vandalism in various regions.
