The All-Progressive Congress (APC) leaders of Ganduje Ward, Dawaki Tofa, have decided to suspend Dr. Abbdullahi Umar Ganduje as its member.
In a statement issued to the press in Kano through the ward party legal adviser, Haladu Gwanjo.
According to Haladu, ”This resolution was reached collectively on behalf of all executive members of the APC in Ganduje ward, Dawakin Tofa.”

The decision to suspend the national chairman of the party was due to allegations of corruption and the dollar scandal charged against him by the state government.
Haladu said that this development could affect the integrity and reputation of our party and its ideals. ” Ganduje has been summoned to court to answer for these accusations, a development that we believe could potentially besmirch the reputation of our esteemed political party.”
The suspension takes effect immediately.
But in another development, the APC chairman of Dawakin Tofa has thwarted the suspension of Ganduje and sack the ward EXCOS behind the suspension for antiparty activities. According to the chairman, those behind these anti-party activities were found to have connived with the state government to stage this suspension.
