The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has officially opened its recruitment portal for tax officers nationwide, effective November 2, 2024.
The application process follows the service’s announcement to recruit Tax Officers I and Tax Officers in several states, including Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Ekiti, Lagos, and Oyo.

Step 1: Check Eligibility
Age Limit: Must be 27 years old or below by December 31, 2024.
NYSC Completion: Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) no later than December 31, 2021.
Educational Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in First Class or Second Class Upper Division in relevant disciplines, including Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, and Law.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents
Prepare and upload clear copies of the necessary documents, which include:
