Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has told Christian leaders that he has never discriminated against anyone in his life, regardless of religion, tribe, or region.

“Therefore, let me assure you that my life has been one free of any form of discrimination, any form,” Atiku said.

The PDP presidential candidate stated this as part of his campaign schedule while meeting with religious leaders at the Catholic Centre in Kaduna.

He stated that it is God’s will for us to be Nigerians regardless of our religious, traditional, or cultural differences, and that we must respect that reality.

“Let me begin by saying that we are a multiethnic and multireligious country, as God intended.

“He created us, places us here, and decrees that we live here together.

“The very least we can do for him is respect our various faiths and traditions and cultures,” Atiku explained.

He also presented himself as an example of how a true Nigerian should be, having come from a state that is multiethnic and multireligious, with no unit claiming superiority over the other, but he remained tribalized, insisting that this is how God wants us to be.

“Thank God, I come from a multiethnic and multireligious state, a beautiful state in which no one group can claim superiority, whether in numbers or otherwise. Adamawa is the state in question “He stated.
