Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has refused to provide further details regarding allegations made by popular social media figure, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
Bobrisky had accused officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS) of demanding N15 million to allow him serve his prison sentence in a VIP section of the Kirikiri Medium Custodial Centre, Lagos.

When called upon to address the Investigating Committee, VDM expressed his frustration, saying, “I don’t know why I will be here and the person who made these allegations is not here.”
Referring to a voice note where Bobrisky mentioned a “godfather,” VDM added, “Bobrisky said in the voice note that there is a godfather. Maybe the godfather told him not to come. He has disrespected this committee by not coming here.”
VDM further expressed his displeasure, stating, “You are already threatening me with arrest. If you detain me, I will stay in the cell.”
He made it clear that he would not speak unless Bobrisky was present: “If Bobrisky is not here, I will not say anything. If I say anything, let me die.”
At the time of this report, the committee members were attempting to convince VDM to testify, assuring him that Bobrisky would also be called to face the panel.
