Rabi’u Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, has stated that his party will defeat both the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 presidential election.
On Sunday, Kwankwaso addressed a large crowd at the inauguration of the Kano State NNPP campaign office, saying, “This crowd symbolizes the need and urge for new leadership, not only in the state but in the country at large.“
“The biggest surprise will be if, God willing, our party, the NNPP, wins the presidential election in 2023.”
“Those of you who are supposed to be in primary school will have access to free education, university students will return to school, and outstanding secondary students will be eligible for scholarships in both Nigeria and foreign universities,” he said.
Party supporters, candidates, business owners, and celebrities braved the scorching heat to chant Kwankwaso’s name, causing major roads in Kano to come to a halt.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our candidates for Kano’s various elective positions before I return during campaign season.” “We have the best candidates for executive and legislative positions,” he said.
