President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation at 7 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, as part of activities commemorating the country’s 62nd Independence Anniversary.

For the broadcast, television stations, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are urged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.

This was revealed in a brief statement signed on Friday by Femi Adesina, a senior Special Assistant to the President.

Buhari’s final Independence Day address to Nigeria as President will be on October 1, 2022.

Buhari’s eight-year presidency as President of Nigeria will come to an end in 2023.
