The NSCDC Zonal Commander, Zone N, ACG Iliya S Dongs and the State Commandant Kano command, Comdt Adamu Salihu alongside State Controllers of Correctional and Immigration Services today received the Honorable Minister of Interior, Chief Rauf Aregbesola at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.
The minister was accompanied on the visit by the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, the CGs of Correctional, Immigration as well as the Fire Service. They were in Kano to condole the families of late Secretary, CDCFIB Hajia Aisha Ahmed Rufa’i who passed away recently after a brief illness.
While at the residence of the late Board Secretary, the Honorable Minister led the CGs in offering prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
The visit to the ancient City was culminated with an inspection of the multi -billion Naira FG project namely the soon to be commissioned NCoS maximum security custodial centre, Janguza, Kano State.
