One of the leading education institution in Kano, Iqra’a Group of Schools; owners of Iqra’a Creche and The Read College, Kano, has graduated the first set of Nine home grown students who have successfully completed their memorization of the Holy Quran and assimilation of substantial portions of the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad, Peace be upon him.

Besides, Iqra’a also graduated 54 pupils from 2020/2021 session, having completed both creche and basic education system.

The 5th graduation ceremony and first walimatul Qur’an held at the convocation arena of Bayero university, Kano, was unique with unprecedented turn out who witness the success story of Iqra’a group of schools after 10 years of establishment.

Excelled in the teaching and learning of conventional and Islamic education, Iqra’a has pioneer special blend of knowledge sharing methodology with the production of young brilliant brains, prolific in Arabic and British language.

Speaking at the occasion, the royal father of the event and emir of Gaya emirate, Alh. Ibrahim Abubakar Gaya, who was represented by Zanna Gaya, Alh. Musa Isa emphasized on the essence of Islamic and western education while urging parents to accord priority attention to build future tomorrow.

The royal father applauded the management of the institution for the introduction of a unique system of teaching that refine young brins and combine both Islamic and conventional education.

Narrating their experience with Iqra’a in the last 10 years, one of the parents and Chairman Parent’s l Teacher’s Association (PTA), Alh. Ibrahim Mustapha said one of the unique factors that kept him stick to Iqra’a is the combination of Arabic, Islamic and conventional education system.

“I have been with Iqra’a creche in almost 10 years old now, i cant express any satisfaction on the quality of education and standard of teaching and learning Iqra has so far demonstrated. And the result is obvious in the pupils. We pray and hope this will continue insha Allah.

” We also appreciate the management of transportation system the school just introduce. For instance, parents who bring their children to Tudun Maliki and also have children going to Badawa. The school has provided free transport system and that has relieve parents a great deal”.

On his part, the proprietor of Iqra’a Group of schools, Dr. Fazaaz Mohammad Bello said the institution has fulfilled its promised to building sound Islamic and Western education both in primary and secondary level.

Highlight of the occasion include short drama, award presentation and launching of trust fund for the school’s central mosque at the permanent site in Tasa village, along Zaria road.
