Ireti Doyle Biography

Iretiola Olusola Ayinke-Doyle is a Nigerian actress, performer, TV host, writer, and public speaker. She began working in the entertainment industry in the 1990s, and over time, she honed her skills on stage, television, film, and print media. She created the Oge with Iretiola TV show, in which she discusses lifestyle and fashion while also pursuing her passion.

She has conversations with some of Africa’s best people who serve as role models for the show’s young adults. Ireti has been in the industry for nearly two decades, and her peers frequently refer to her as “the actor’s actor” because of the high caliber of the roles she consistently performs.

Ireti Doyle Early Life and Education

Ireti Doyle was born on May 3, 1967, in Ondo State, but she spent her early years in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States of America with her family. She attended Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti, after moving back to Nigeria. She earned a diploma in mass communication and later earned a theatre arts degree from the University of Jos.

Ireti Doyle Career

Ireti is a multifaceted performer with experience in writing, acting, TV hosting, and public speaking. She essentially began acting in 1995 during a school strike. She took advantage of the chance and went to an audition for a part in the TV show, Riddles and Hopes. Her inspiration had previously started in secondary school while she was watching the TV show Mind Bending, which was created by Lola Fani Kayode and had Joke Silva as the main feature.

She entered the television hosting business as she developed her career in the film industry. She was a host of programmes such as Morning Ride on STV, Nimasa, and This Week on Channels TV. She also started writing pieces for publications such as This Day Newspaper, City People, Saturday Vanguard, and others as a social commentator.

She started her fashion and lifestyle programme, Oge with Iretiola, in 2000, and it aired continuously for ten years. She then started writing scripts. She also authored other intriguing stories, including the Tempest of Amaka Igwe.

Ireti enjoys a high level of respect in the field because of how well she performs her tasks. She additionally made appearances in the movies The Arbitration and The Wedding Party, as well as Dinner and Madam President. She has designed characters for television programmes like Gidi Up, Dowry, and Fuji House of Commotion.
