A teenage girl from Yobe state, Fatima Saleh Alkali has generated excitement on social media after scoring aggregate of 336 in the just concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Daily News 24 reports that Ms Fatima is one of the few students across the country to emerge with one of the best results in the UTME, conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.

A breakdown of Ms Fatima’s UTME result reveals that she scored 68 in English language, 93 in mathematics, 87 in physics and 88 in chemistry.

Netizens from northern social media space shared her results widely as they congratulated her over the incredible performance.

A financial expert from Yobe, Dr Sheriff Al-Muhajir, who shared Ms Fatima’s photos and results, said she had been offered a scholarship up to PhD level.

In a post on his Facebook page, Dr Muhajir, said there are plans to organize a grand reception for the student to celebrate her exceptional achievement.
