Rapper Jay-Z has denied allegations of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a 2000 party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs, describing the claims as a “blackmail attempt.”

The accusations were detailed in an amended lawsuit filed on Sunday in the Southern District of New York.

The plaintiff alleged that she was drugged and raped during a party following the MTV Music Awards in New York.

Initially filed in October, the complaint referred to Jay-Z as “Celebrity A” but did not name him as a defendant.

Responding on social media, Jay-Z dismissed the allegations, saying, “This is nothing more than a blackmail attempt,” and criticized the plaintiff’s legal team.

Tony Buzbee, a Texas lawyer representing the plaintiff, has filed multiple lawsuits against Combs over alleged sexual misconduct.

In a statement, Buzbee emphasized the seriousness of the case, stating, “The lawsuit speaks for itself, and this is a very serious matter that will be litigated in court.”

The lawsuit further alleges that Jay-Z retaliated against the plaintiff’s legal team, filing a countersuit and orchestrating harassment.
