Joseph Akinfenwa-Docus a popular Nigerian singer, commonly known as Joeboy, has warned Nigerians against pouring harmful content on their bodies.

The 24-year-old singer’s new song ‘ Alcohol ‘ released on the 24th of September has been trending on Tiktok and other social media networks since its release.

This led to a viral challenge where fans were seen pouring harmful content like bleach on their bodies with some even going to the extent of drinking Dettol.

Joeboy, who seemed displeased with the videos, urged his fans to desist from the challenge.

He, however, thanked them for their unwavering support for his songs.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: “I appreciate the love alcohol is getting but stop pouring stuff on your bodies.

“You’re welcome to keep learning the lyrics by the way.”

Mr. Eazi of the record label “emPawa Africa” discovered Joeboy in 2017. In 2020, Joeboy won the Headies award for song of the year and Best Pop Single.
