The mother of Emirs of Kano and Bichi, Aminu Ado Bayero, and Nasiru Ado Bayero, Hajiya Maryam Ado Bayero has died.

Under Secretary of the Kano Emirate Council, Awaisu Abbas Sunusi who confirmed the death to Daily News 24 says she died at about 9am Saturday in Egypt.

Sunusi however added that date and time of funeral will be announced soon.
