Former Minister for Women Affairs, Hajiya Jummai Alhassan also known as Mama Taraba is dead.

She died in Cairo, Egypt at the age of 61.

She resigned as the Minister of Women Affairs on July 27, 2018 to contest the governorship election in Taraba.
