Federation of Muslim Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) has begged the abductors across the country to put to sleep the dastardly act unleashed on the people.

The association in a statement issued by the state Amirah of FOMWAN Pharm. Aisha Isyaku Tukur in Kaduna confirmed the association expressed bitterness over the continuous serial attacks by men of the underworld despite efforts made by security agencies, they seem not to a ceasefire.

The statements read, “Federation of Muslim Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) has expressed shock and dismay as well as a deep sense of sorrow over the recent spike in banditry and kidnapping in some parts of Kaduna State

“It appeals to the abductors to please stop these senseless activities and embrace peace, stressing that as mothers, we are deeply saddened and call on the government to intensify efforts at protecting the citizenry, particularly women and children in the state.”

The group in the statement has described the recent invasion of Nuhu Bamall Polytechnic and the kidnap of 8 members of the same family by bandits as sad and barbaric, appealed to the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, and other Traditional Rulers in the state to help tame the monster, stressed it is time the state needs their royal role.

They urged the people to put away fears rather than intensify prayers to touch and change the hearts of the abductors.

However, they commended Governor Nasir El Rufai and their men for their unrelenting efforts towards ensuring peaceful co-existence in the state.
