An aspirant contesting for the position of Chairmanship at Kufena ward, Kajuru LG of Kaduna state, Barr. Esther Ashivelle Dawaki has pledged to carry everyone in the ward along if elected as their candidate in the coming Local Government election across the state.
Esther Ashivelle Dawaki who is contesting under the people’s Democratic party noted that it was a call from the people of the ward due to the evidence of good work already started, promised to sustain the tempo, as well as not betray the trust reposed in her.
Making this pledge was at the people’s Democratic party secretariat in Kaduna while she was picking the form to contest for the position of chairman in the Kufana ward.
She said “This is another opportunity to take everybody along. The old, children, women, men. They called on me, they saw something, and am ready to serve them, let them choose me the way they want.
They know that I would serve them better, and I know that, once they vote for me, they can’t miss it, forget it, they can’t just regret it. So I know and I trust my people and I believe in them just the way they believed in me”, she stressed.
Dawaki said Kujuru is no longer news about the situation of the country. ” Top priority is security. What is happening in Kajuru, we have started already before even this call.

In his words, chairman of the state people’s Democratic Party, Hon. Felix Hassan Hayte, who is positive on the coming election assured transparency in the poll, also urged aspirants not to be carried away by the words of people, instead follow those who will give their mandate at the poll
He commended the courage taken by women contesting for different positions under the party said, “we are happy that females are taken up the challenges. Since the fee for the form has been taken out for them as a form of encouragement.”
Barrister Esther Ashivelle Dawaki is among the many women who declared interest to contest in the coming LG election in the state.
